An Introduction to Program Planning & Evaluation
This course is intended for people who are working to prevent violence in their communities, whether that is a neighborhood, state, campus, reservation, or any other type of community. This is an introductory course and is meant to provide a very basic overview of the main concepts behind prevention program planning and evaluation. Specifically, this course will help you understand how program planning and evaluation go together.
This course also provides an overview and introduction to the new Program Planning & Evaluation Workbook, made available for download or mailed from our company’s website, www.StrategicPreventionSolutions.com
We will be referencing sections of the workbook throughout the course, and we will be using some of the worksheets in the workbook. You do not need the workbook to accomplish the learning objectives of this course, however, the workbook includes much more detail about the topics we will be covering today, as well as topics that we do not cover today.
